COLORING is good for you.

My children love to draw and they love to color. The love of their own art spills over to their keen interest in other artists as well, especially in the case of our friend Keith Funk who originally illustrated for this column, as well as our new friend and well known cartoonist Jim Hunt who I’m lucky to now have illustrating for me.

Sam and Daisy love to color their illustrations and help make them even better. While they are ultimately provided to me in full color prior to publication, the black & white illustrations are provided here for others to color as they see fit.

Coloring is good for you ““ no matter what age you are. And staying within the lines is not important. As with all forms of art, individual expression is the only thing that matters.
