SOMEONE HELP THE OCTOMOM
The Octomom is a tragic example of how famous someone can become, yet still be completely broke and the brunt of the joke.
How is it that she hasn’t had some terrific management company swoop in to save the day and help her capitalize on her fame and turn it into fortune? I understand she has refused the reality show route and doesn’t wan’t to expose her children, but there has to be a better solution than doing a porn or stripping on stage after declaring bankruptcy.
I’ve seen this woman in interviews and she seems wacky for sure, but she has 14 children to raise and needs to figure out a solution to her ever growing financial responsibilities.
If you were part of a management team hired to turn her life around, what would you suggest? I think there’s an opportunity for Nadya Suleman and all her kids to have a promising future, and I hope she gets the help she needs before something terrible happens, because I could see it going either way.
Here’s Jimmy Kimmel’s recap of her striptease. It’s too bad she didn’t get paid a commission for all the material she’s given the comics over the years.

Lori, you seem like a good hearted person, just try’n to put a family spin on everything…Octomom stuff is not something that fits your profile..there are people out there that are over the top..I’d say mostly from greed, money and drugs…let her ride…keep it simple !if you ever run out of ideas, ask your audience how much of their personal life they’d disclose to anybody. You do it every week….kind’s like a a singer, totally vulnerable and naked.
Hi Kal! Thanks for posting a comment. I’m fascinated by pop culture and Octomom is definitely a part of that. The topic of her wouldn’t really fit within my newspaper column, which is part of the reason I wanted to start blogging again. I like the idea of being able to write about whatever’s on my mind and when I saw this recent story about her I felt like commenting. It wasn’t a matter of being out of ideas… I’m never out of those. But I’m still open to hearing ideas from people if they have some! – Lori
